SWINGUM Project: Live Session

We are happy to invite you to our first live session as part of Swingm project that aims to develop youth’s critical thinking skills. Our first session will tackle the topic of “the importance of debate in developing youth’s communication and critical thinking skills”
We have a very special guest who has years of experience in the field. Aissam Benaissa is co-founder and President of Connect NordAfrika e.V.. He has nine years experience in the promotion of Intercultural Debate and Dialogue in North Africa, and across Europe and the Mediterranean region. He founded the Young Arab Voices in Algeria in 2013, supported the process of creation of the Young Med Voices in 2016-2017, and led the development and implementation of the Advocacy Training, one of the four projects of the European Commission’s ‘Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange’ (2018-2020).
Aissam has further experiences in Project Management at the Anna Lindh Foundation, in Research at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, and is currently working in the field of technology in Berlin – Germany.
